"Well, I personally find nothing better than the smell of sweat, wine, and love in the air. It makes the room feel a bit warmer and lends an added air of sophistication to this place." He said, looking around at his party goers. No one worth really noticing in the crowd except for those who had confiscated his things earlier. He'd have to keep track of those two. "Besides, think of it as the smell of lives being saved. Makes everything seem a lot more bearable." He suggested.
Focusing on the area she had suggested, he nodded. Yeah, that might work rather nicely. Give all those people longing about there something to do. "Yes, that might actually work quite nicely. I could put some of my finest red wine in it. Maybe it have it be really ornate with little dolphins or Uncle Po." After all, there was no bigger flattery than being etched into a wine fountain. Certainly Poseidon would be honoured to have his image somewhere in it. "You know, I rather like that idea. I might have to have you back here once I get it."
He looked at her with an arched brow. If he didn't know any better, he would think that Kallisto had some sort of idea forming in that pretty head of hers. Not that the idea didn't sound more than a bit pleasant to the God of Wine. "Well, you could alway stay the night sometime. I'm more than sure my bed could fit the both of us since it would be awfully rude to let you sleep out here with everyone else." And he was a perfectly nice guy with no ulterior motives at all, just like his father.

Kallisto smiled, "You save lives from wallowing in self pity and I save who I can from life threatening emergencies. A fact I'm pretty sure Hades dispises with a passion. Perhaps I shall have to send him coins for those lives I save." she grinned showing that the thought of others not liking or dispising her was bothersome, "I will admit the smell of wine has a certain poetry to it and it never writes the same poem in our lives twice either. And I would love to come back here when the fountain is in place. Perhaps a carving of your uncle standing atop of two dolphins pulling him?"
At the mention of her staying the night her blush glowed at full capacity in her cheeks and her eyes looked down ever so slightly, "I actually um. I could come by in the morning." her voice came out slightly choked. Taking a breath she looked back up at him, "I've never... Wow, um I've slept in the same room with men, but I..." she bit her bottom lip hesistating before she finished answering him, neither saying yes or no, "I've never even been kissed." Which wasn't for a lack of men trying either. She just hadn't had the time and hadn't found a guy that she really wanted to kiss, let alone do more with until now. It was odd her mother's teasing words when annoyed with her father ringing through her mind, 'If you're smart you'll save yourself for the Gods.' Having met him she now wondered if perhaps that had been her trouble all along, she'd taken her mother's words to heart as a child.

He waved his hand dismissively at the mention of the other god. " Hades hates anyone who tries and stop the dying from, well, dying." He said, feeling a bit dumb for his inability to find a better word. Rubbing at the back of his neck rather nervously, he smiled nervously. Until she started talking wine. That made any sense of nervousness feeling go away in an instant. " That's what makes it so absolutely wonderful. The only thing you can count on is the taste and even that could change if it's not exactly the same. Wine is a wonder that should be treated as such, and consumed often." Yes, that was the key to wine. Have it often enough without killing yourself in the process.
He liked her blushing, even if it was over such a trivial thing. Just spending the night with some random immortal shouldn't cause a girl to blush so badly. If anything it should get them nodding eagerly. He nearly frowned at the mention of her simply coming by in the morning since that wasn't what he wanted, but once he heard what the cause of the problem was, he smirked. "Well that is a slight problem. I mean, never being kissed? That might as well be some kind of unholy crime." He muttered as he moved closer to her. Holding onto the back of her neck, he kissed her with all the affection he would kiss anyone else he liked. He wouldn't have her living such an awful life anymore, that and he simply liked giving into his more carnal urges.

Kallisto's lips trembled slightly under his, partially from shock but mostly from the pleasant shiver his kiss sent running down her spine. Once the shiver hand run it's course she returned the kiss curiously and somewhat hesistant at first. Her lips curved slightly against his as she tasted the wine on his lips and pulled just far enough away so their lips weren't touching murmering, "If it's possible wine tastes even better on your lips."
Her eyes moved up locking with his her smile going from her lips to her eyes with something lighting in the depths of her warm brown eyes. She had so many outlets for the passion in her life, but none quite this potentially explosive. She could feel it building below the surface, her heart rate elevating from an adrenaline of a different type. A reaction this strong would scare most people, but for Kallisto she thrived off of passion and adrenaline. If she didn't she would have burned out a long time ago. She'd once told her chief there was no greater excitement and nothing better than that instant before she ran into a burning building, how sadly wrong she had been.
It was so tempting to just let the fire explode, but the best things in life came to those who waited. Stepping closer to him she brushed her lips lightly against his, teasing him and almost as if she were asking a question, "I'd say I should have had my first kiss a long time ago, but then it wouldn't have been with you."

Yes! She was kissing him back. And while on the outside Dionysus seemed rather interested in what he was doing, he was dancing the dumbest and dorkiest of dances in his mind. It was rather amazing how childish he could be. Once the kiss was broken, he smiled his special goofy grin at the compliment. " Thanks. I try my hardest."
Dionysus was rather proud of himself, not mention a bit at ease that she didn't seem the least bit upset that he could have very well ruined her first kiss. She could have been waiting to kiss the guy she was going to marry or something. And now he had ruined that, her first kiss being with an immortal who's kisses always tasted of wine since the flavour seemed to linger in his mouth without him noticing. He really could be quite the careless cad at times. He wouldn't even bother thinking about what it would have been like if he had ruined her first kiss, the poor girl. Certainly that would have left them both feeling awful. But since he hadn't, he had to figure out what exactly he wanted, which didn't take long seeing how it turned out to be a bit more kissing. Oh and she seemed like she could read his every thought, stepping closer to him like that.
He stood there, doing his absolute best to remain perfectly still as well. He was god , he knew how to wait better than any mortal and he was more than willing to prove that. Placing an arm around her waist, he licked his lips. " I suppose that's true. But I make a good kiss no matter the order." He bragged, feeling a little good about himself.

Kallisto chuckled, "Hmmmm and you're modest about it that fact too." she teased him. He was a God, it only made sense that he had a very healthy ego, but that in no way meant she couldn't pick on him for it, "Well seeing as that was my first kiss, I think perhaps you should give me lessons, after all who better to learn from than a God?"
This time when she kissed him lightly she kept her lips on his, continuing to pick on him only with her mouth this time and not her voice. Her lips touched his just enough to be felt as she teased his lower lip, which also resulted in tormenting herself. Though seeing what his reaction would be made it worth it in her mind. Afterall it was the human condition to learn by trial and error, she had a lot of catching up to do in this particular area.
As her kiss continued she didn't move any closer either, simply enjoying the current moment she was in. She had never been a girl that had been waiting for marriage. Reality said that divorce rates for firefighters and paramedics was extremely high. In her mind it would be foolish to wait for marriage and give herself completely along with a long list of firsts to a man that would likely divorce her in two years. A sad reality, but none the less a reality. It had been more waiting for the right person or in this case God. Afterall, she wasn't certain she would ever risk the sanctity of marriage with the knowledge of it she already had.
A typical man couldn't handle the pressures of her job. In there minds it was their job to protect women, an understandable mindset. But difficult when the woman they cared for's job entailed constantly putting herself in harms way. Add on to that twenty four hour shifts away from home or long, and sleeping in a room with ten other men. She really couldn't blame the men her female firefighter friends dated that broke up with them due to the pressures of their job. All the more reason for her not to date for as long as she hadn't.

Who ever said flattery would get you nowhere clearly had never met the party god. He loved a bit of flattery, much like any other god or goddess. "Eh. Modesty is for people who can't handle a compliment." He said dismissively. " I think there may be plenty better people to learn from, but I suppose I could teach you." After all, he had nothing but free time and tons of experience to pass on.
Although she really didn't need much training from what he could tell. He kissed her back, his other arm snaking around around her waist to pull her a bit closer. But he was supposed to be teaching and he would. His lips parted ever so slightly, his tongue slipping out just enough to brush against her lips before going back to where it belonged. Although his lips still remained parted, just the slightest bit. A small invitation he only hoped that she would take.
Why did everything always seem to be a tad better with a mortal? Not that he didn't like the time he spent with other goddesses and Morpheus, but the simple fact of the matter was, that he missed mortals. They had become a forbidden treasure the moment that they weren't allowed to meddle in the live of them any more. It was a horrible urge for him to control since that's where all good parties led. You drink, you get unbelievably drunk and then you wake up with someone you didn't quite remeber, feeling a little scared and happy. It was nice and wonderful way to live and it had all been stripped away from him. So of course he would want to affect his tender party goers more and the closer the equinox got. It was an uncontrollable urge.

Kallisto stepped into him as he pulled her closer, pressing her body lightly against his. When his tongue touched her lips she felt her breath catch in her throat a moment, and there was that tingly sensation down her spine to contend with also. Smiling she returned the favor only her tongue slid past his lips lightly brushing his tongue with hers before retracting back into her own mouth. The things just a kiss from Dion's lips did to her body simply wasn't fighting fair, but then again since when did the Gods play fair?
A soft sigh escaped her lips her smile turning slightly mishievious as she replied finally to his earlier comments, "In that case, I have to disagree with you. I think you're the perfect person for me to learn from. After all your handsome, charming and you come with an endless supply of excellent wine. Then there's your kiss and that's not half bad either." She pressed her lips to his once more before pulling just far enough away to turn and pour herself another glass of wine, having forgotten her sorrows completely, her only thought now on spending time with him and enjoying the party.

Dion would have smiled if his mouth wasn't preoccupied. Pity that. One of his hands found it's way to her hair though as he tilted his head to the side a little, not really expecting the slight slip of tongue. Go figure? Such a simple action could feel so good. And it even managed to coax a soft moan from him. She was a rather quick learner if she could do that. Either that or he was surprisingly easy to please, either one he was more that alright with. Still the favour had to be returned. His tongue was once again slipped into her mouth, doing the smallest bit of exploration before retreating back into his own once more.
A faint blush managed to make it's way to his face. Oh now that was just too nice. Sure, over the choice of mortals or him, he could see how he might win. But between gods, he wasn't even close to being the best. Hell, even Zeus seemed like a better choice, though that was do to the man's limitless experience. "Thanks. Nice to see I'm good for than just a nice party and some wine. I can also kiss real good." He said once the simpler kiss had ended. Moving over to stand next to her, he chuckled. It was nice that she was feeling so damn relaxed. "So, going to stay the night?"

His exploration of her mouth drew a quiet moan. The moan that had escaped from him had suprised her. If she were honest with herself she had expected her inexperience to make kissing awkward at best. She felt like her veins had liquid fire running through them now, as opposed to blood. If her mother could see her now, a thought that brought a slight chuckle to her lips that she quickly supressed.
Seeing him blush made her feel good, at least she wasn't the only one. Besides how many mortals had that ability she wondered. While Zeus might appeal to many women, Kallisto had a certain disgust in his tactics and the fact that he had so many lovers and a wife. It wasn't her place to tell any God they were wrong, but she could certainly not be interested in more than the relationship between God and mortal that always existed. Dionysus had his own set of stories, but that she was aware infidelity and rape were not apart of them. Stories of both left a bad taste in one's mouth.
She looked at Dionysus as he thanked her for the compliment, "I think you're good for a lot more than you're given credit for, most are. You're good at kissing, possibly more I don't know about and your also very good company." She heard the question and felt her face glow again, if she didn't know better he was going to make it a habit of making her blush, not that it was entirely his fault. Smiling she took a sip of wine thinking about it, "Mmmmm. I'm thinking about it. You may have to do some more convincing."

Oh the kiss was very far from awkward. Kissing a mortal always came with a certain amount of inexperience on their part that he never once found dissatisfying. It was a lot better than the feeling of him being inexperienced, for that occasionally came about when kissing another deity. No, he was perfectly content with her since he could occupy his time just being happy that he had given her a first kiss to remember, not that many would believe her even with the return of the ancient gods.
Was he? Well that was a rather nice thought, that he was better than the rest of his family, but he knew better. There was a nice difference between being different and in your element. Deciding to give her a bit more incentive, he wrapped his arms around Kallisto's waist, resting his his chin on her shoulder. "And how exactly would I go about that because I really want you to spend the night with me?" He whispered only to place the smallest of a kisses against her neck. It was only fair and the big Z shouldn't mind if he interfered in the life of just one mortal what with it being so very close to that time anyways.

Kallisto giggled as his arms brushed the ticklish spot along her sides. The kiss he placed on her neck making her knees feel as though the were about to give way from under her. Glancing at him out of the corner of her eyes, "Now dearest Dionysus..." she leaned her head back whispering in his ear, "If I told you that, where would the fun in that be or the challenge for you, for that matter." Ever so carefully she very lightly teased his earlobe with her teeth before looking away again and sipping her wine.
As far as interfering went, she had no clue that the Gods weren't supposed to interfer and if she had she would have argued the point. Thanades still took lives and Hades still accepted them, was that not interference in itself? Then there was the fact that she wanted to stay and if she wanted to, was he really interfering? Kallisto was one of those rare mortals that still believed and even more rare than believing in the Gods she believed in everything that those beliefs entailed including Hero's, romance and that every once in a great while a mortal could sway the Gods to their side. True the last instance was rare, but she was still the type that if something were important enough to her she would try, like she had for the man that had died the same day as her partner. That and it was rare she tried going to the Gods with pleas of any sort, having the belief that it was best to take care of the small things on your own and not pester the Gods unless absolutely necessary.
As far as others believing she had been kissed by Dionysus, she could care less and likely wouldn't tell at any rate. She wasn't the type to kiss and tell, it was much more fun to let others wonder than to openly give them the answer. One thing was very set in her mind already, Zeus wouldn't be getting his hands on her if she had anything to say about it, not anytime in the near future or later. Dion on the other hand, could put his hands anywhere and get way with it if he really wanted to. Not that she would openly tell him that, letting him find out for himself was so much more fun.

Dion let out a small chuckle as well simply because he enjoy laughter. A shiver went down his spine at the sensation. No, there was no way a girl could be so innocent and yet so eager at the same time. Still, he smirked and nodded. "Well, in that case, I'll just have to try my very best." With that, he cast a careful glance at his party goers and then started to kiss along her neck once more. Kissing and nipping at one spot for a moment before moving on, not one for leaving any kind of mark.
It didn't much matter since everyone was quite content going on with their own little lives. The haze of fun and pleasure. Which basically meant that he could do whatever he pleased without being interrupted. No one would bother either of them. Instead they'd just walk on by like it twas nothing because, in all honesty, everything about the gathering was under his control in one way or another. Once again, not interfering because so long as there was partying and drinking, he was needed. Or at least, that's what he told anyone who thought he might somehow be trying to weasel around the rules like some awful little snake of a god.
And he would gladly back her up on that little statement if she ever chose to share it. He was never one bit ashamed to admit when he had done anything. It wasn't as though he had a reason to be afraid to unlike Zeus. Although, perhaps it was just him who found Hera to be an angry, awful stick shaker?

Kalliso felt herself tremble as a soft moan escaped her lips. If there had been doubt before there was no doubt in her mind now as to his intentions, not that there really had been. Swallowing hard she turned in his arms facing him and froze when a party goer walked into the room. If her face had heated before it felt like it was on fire now as she backed away leaning against a counter the shyness coming back into full swing once again.
Once the party goer had left the room, paying very little attention to them both she cleared her throat, "I don't suppose we can continue this somewhere more private?" she smiled at him. She was past the point of teasing him into wondering if she would stay or not. Which didn't go to say she was done teasing him all together, but at this point the maybe's were beyond unbelievable, "You could always show me the bedroom, seeing as I'll be staying here tonight."
Moving hesistantly she rested her hand in his, feeling badly about pulling away, but her innocence while fleeting seemingly quickly in his presence had demanded it. Which was odd given that typically she had no sense of personal space, likely the explanation for her eagerness. She'd lost count of the times she'd had hands, knees, butts and various other places in what most would consider uncomfortable places; it came with the territory however. You didn't worry about such things on an emergency scene quickly by worrying about who was touching you where.
She was definitely an odd combination of contradictions, a fact that didn't escape Kalli or anyone that knew her. It had bothered her for sometime, but she had learned to accept and live with it. At the very least no one who knew her or met her for that matter grew bored easily. Just when one thought they knew her they would discover new suprises about her. She'd actually grown to have fun with suprising people when they thought they knew everything about her. There was a certain pride that came with that rare talent of personality.

His disappointment at her moving was quite obvious, not that he was ever one for trying to hide his emotions. Looking over he spotted the cause of the sudden change and sighed. If he wasn't such a nice person he would have smitten the poor soul just for the simple fact that they had screwed up a rather nice thing he'd been working on. Still he respected her need to stop and took a step away from her since it was all he was willing to do.
Scratching his head as he pretended to think it over, he nodded slowly. " I think there might be somewhere. Although I'm no so sure I want you in my bedroom of all places. That's a bit personal." Not that kissing in someone's kitchen wasn't personal as well. And he had offered to let her stay there, didn't he? Oh well this was all a big confusing mess. Might as well just take her to his room just in case.
Grabbing her hand, he flashed her a bright smile before he started off to his room. Occasionally he'd be stopped by one of his guests, give them a nice hello and make a bit of small talk before picking up his quest where he left off since the grand majority seemed to realize that Dion had a girl with him and let their minds wander off to whatever they wanted to speculate since he didn't even know for sure what would happen. Once he came to his room though, he the doorknob for a moment before opening it. Sure it was a waste to use his powers for petty things like opening locks, but it was him.
Opening the door, he held it open for her. Frankly his bedroom was a lot like the rest of the house. All dark reds and low lighting. That same modern feeling that went throughout the house. And it was like any other bedroom, a few drawers, a dresser, closet, king sized bed with all sort of pillows on it. Perfectly normal and very uninteresting. Well aside from the small wine rack, but that should have been expected in his home anyways.
