Olympus

No New Posts The Gardens

Probably the first thing you will see as you come up to the great white marble home to the gods is the garden. With fountains lining the great expanse of flowers and trees, it's extremely hard to miss. The intoxicating aroma is enough to bring the strongest mortal to their knees; such power belonging soley to these seemingly magical plants.

The large collection of buildings is an imposing figure just East of the gardens. Able to house any creature within creation, it's quite a stunning sight. Off to the side you'll note the glimmering chariots the Deities favor for forms of racing and entertainment.

A wonderful, pristine white palace built on that of the clouds surrounding the highest peak of Olympus. Gods roam freely through the immensely large building and any human who gets to see it, should consider themselves beyond lucky.

Like a terrible corporate business, all the gods and goddesses have a tendency to meet with each other. Due to the threat of a civil war on the horizon, this room is, more often than not, the center of heated discussion and worry. They're more organized than you'd believe.

No New Posts Banquet Room

A room fit for the Gods. Decorated in lavish and deep colors, it's nothing short of regal. There are several tables spread out over the premise, ranging from intricatly carved wood tables to pure gold structures where Zeus and his closest confidants dine. The food is just as rich as the decorations--would you expect anything less?

Located deep in the confines of the main palace lay an expanse of bedrooms; each more elaborate than the last, mainly due to the preference of each God or Goddess dwelling within. The rooms are off limits unless you're invited in by the owner.

It's their gateway to the mortal realm. Seeing Pools allow the Gods to dip into the ever so 'private' lives of mortals. However, they chose this at their own price; sometimes it provides too much information for decency to be upheld. Or perhaps a prophecy is more appealing..To each their own.

You're more likely to find Hephaestus here than anywhere else. The location of his workshop hidden beneath the smoldering heat of a volcano, he produces nearly all the weapons supplied to the Gods, and, of course, all the metal bric-a-brac the Goddesses are so fond of.

Water, nothing but it for miles and miles on end. A completely different home to a completely different type of being. Dolphins, fish, squids. The further down you go the stranger they get. But it is also home to Poseidon since it is his to rule freely.

The big apple. The city that never sleeps. There's no stopping life in this big city. The nightlife bleeds into everyday casualties seamlessly and everyone wants to be there. Whether i be to shop Fifth Avenue or wander around the Bronx. Although, most tourist wind up at the Statue of Liberty for the sake of it.

A scheming, sluttish town in the desert where no one dares speak about what happens there. Money is lost here in a matter of moments. People get drunkenly married to no one of concern at one of the many themed chappels and the best time to sleep is in the morning because all those demons vanish in the light of day.

There's far too much to do in this wondrous town of hills. There's the wharf, a nice little hub of tourist fun. Lumbar street, crookedest street in the world and then there's everything else because in San Fran, there is little you can't find to busy yourself with.

Welcome to Miami. A wonderful, tropical paradise that never seems to lack sun or interest. Scantily clad woman wandering the streets shopping. People of all kinds at the beach, lounging about and simply enjoying themselves. Makes it quite easy to ignore the crime and hurricane season when they appear.

High class society turned modern cultural hub. Tourists visit for all around to see the sites or just wander about aimlessly. It's the sites of varying forms of fame and a seemingly different lifestyle for all those may visit.

Currently going through a design renaissance, this highly developed city rivals Paris's fashion power. The design market here is constantly booming, not to be outdone by the sister cities. Carefully constructed, Milan is a mix of both the old and new, a combination fit to host several of the immortal's fancies.

Ahh, Paris! City of love. Or rather, mischief in this case. Oh such a pretty place; noted fashion capital of the world too. It might be the elegance and dirty sophistication that lurks in this city that draws tourists and locals constantly; despite the threat of it becoming a heated battle ground. Several of the more..'love' inclined immortal beings frequent the streets and nightclubs it has to offer.

You can just smell the culture of this place. It's city routes run so deep throughout the European continent that it's any wonder why Barcelona cannot call itself a world capital. Originally a Roman city, this Mediterranean landscape can now boast as the second largest city in Espana.

The ancient acropolis of Athens is truly a wonder. A place with temples and theatres. A place of wonder and beauty. Even if time has taken its toll on the wonderful site. Though, most every important artifact is at the museum on the southeast side.

Located in the centre of the Acropolis, it is the site of worship for the goddess Athena. Or at leas it was. Now it is an 'ancient ruin' to be observed by tourists from all around. Oh how the mighty have been forsaked.

A rather wealthy, chic, upscale district. It has wonderful shops for jewelry and couture fashion. More options than you can count concerning nightlife, too. Of course it's not all shallow fun. There are a number of museums and galleries in the area as well.

Some would say there was nothing particularly important about the hill of Ares, but trials for murders were held here for both humans and gods. That and it can be quite nice to lay about on.

While holding no real ancient significance, it is a beautiful fountain with a gorgeous statue of the great Neptune (or Poseidon for the Greeks). Tourists and locals go and throw coins in hoping to return to the fair city or marriage depending on how many coins you throw.

This great site was once and still is a site of worship. If only it wasn't for the wrong thing. No longer is it a site to worship the seven gods of the planets. Now it holds a Sunday mass, but perhaps things may change once those ancient gods show themselves once more.

The hub of Roman entertainment. Plays about gods, great battle re-enactments, excursion all happened here. Not that a soul cares. They all care that this was a battle ground for the gladiators who risked their lives for such a crude form of amusement.

The entrance to the underworld holds nothing special about it. Just a rickety boat on the River Styx and the ferryman Charon. Time was it would cost you one gold coin to get to Asphodel, but unfortunately times change.

Home to those who didn't make a difference in their lives and those waiting their judgment. Souls just wander around aimlessly and boredly through feilds of greying plants like asphodels, occasionally eating at them.

A beautiful paradise for heroes. A perpetual spring time where with its own sun and stars to add light to the typically gloomy underworld. Poplars and Asphodels far more beautiful than those in the fields, grow in the undead paradise, lending to the beauty of it all.
