Celeste was….lost. She was lost in the many hallways of St. Delacroix Academy. She had given up hope a long tome ago that she would make it to her Math class on time. Why had she given up hope? Celeste wasn’t the normal person that would give up hope. In fact, many might doubt that’s she’s ever given up on anything in her life. Ever. She was always just the kind of person that what just keep on trying and would only give up if she was forced too. Well, she had given up because she had been lost for about forty minutes, she was tired, and she had already missed class anyway. Celeste hadn’t had time for breakfast that morning and was surprised at being able to run that far on so little energy. Everything seemed to be a surprise today. She was now in the middle of one of her free periods. For now anyway….
Celeste slumped down onto the floor, leaning her head against the wall. She had been running around for the past ten minutes hoping she would find the classroom and she would somehow be able to explain that she had gotten lost. How could a sixteen-year-old girl, who had been at the school for four years, possibly get lost? That’s what she had been trying to figure out. It might have something to do with the fact that she had gotten up late that morning and had started running through the hallways to try and get to class. Then she started walking, then running, then walking, and she got even more lost. When she had looked at her watch and seen that she had only five minutes to get to class she had nearly had a heart attack. She missed the beginning of class and actually the entire class itself. ‘Uhhhhh.
Not that Math class was her favorite class in the fist place. Schoolwork wasn’t exactly her strength. She amazed herself every year when she managed to pass all her classes, somehow. However, the school was her most favorite place in the world and she would never ever want to leave it. Ever. Home was just another place for her to get bullied by her practically evil foster parents. Welcome to the magical world of Celeste/Cinderella. Well, that’s what her friends called her anyway. Cinderella. But, she was getting off track again, not that that was unusual for her.
She had at least found some time to make her self look decent. Her dark brown hair had been brushed and then hurriedly pulled back into a ponytail, when she had looked at the clock. Celeste was wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, which wasn’t her typical color, and an equally grey foot-length plaited skirt. It was after all, getting colder out and she wasn’t very fond of cold weather. Summer was so much better that winter. She had to make sure that she stayed warm.
Celeste sighed and sat up crossing her legs under her skirt. She looked to her left and right. ‘Still nobody…’ she thought and sighed again. ‘I hope somebody comes…’ Then again, it might be a little embarrassing to be found lost in the hallways. ‘Oh well.’ she thought. ‘Somebody will come eventually. I’m sure.’
Is it an Intro or Post: Intro, and I’m terrible at intros too, so sorry if this was bad.
