Steam fogged around the Hogwarts Express, a horrid little tin can that would soon be pulling a group of weary students to the castle they’d be calling home, warming the hearts of the few who trekked around the platform. For now the large red train sat on the tracks well hidden from the prying eyes the muggle parents that dragged their weeping children through the damp station. Beyond the chilly stone walls sheets and sheets of rain soaked the city, flooding the streets and forcing the tourists to set aside their plans for the day and take shelter in hotel rooms and cafes. Muggles enjoyed hot coffee while their darling little ones nibbled on cookies and magical students ran straight through the wall emerging on Platform 9 ¾ ready to leave behind the nonmagical world and make their way to Hogwarts. Everything about this rainy day seemed normal. That was until a large black car pulled up outside the station.
A pale hand pushed the back door open slowly as a man circled around with an umbrella to usher her out of the rain. The thin figure of Yoko Kaijuu stepped over the rushing gutter, her black boots scuffing against the concrete as her eyes drifted slowly over the muggle crowd. Yoko walked calmly if not in a bored state up the train front doors of the train station before shooing away her escort. She was not going to start off her school year with a huge bald man brooding over her shoulder. In a moment he’d bring out her bags and load them so his young master wouldn’t have to stress with such meaningless tasks. Eventually her father would have her being carried everywhere so she wouldn’t be bothered by walking. Black eyes rolling and a scoff her pale lips the young woman’s mind mocked her with the image of Mr. Kaijuu ranting about her using her legs. Marching through the wall, not bothering to check if she was being watched, Yoko came out gaze fixed on the bright crimson metal before her.
Just as the young woman arrived the Fates saw fit to make this horrid day drag on as long as possible. The Hogwarts Express which had seemed like a cheap little thing from afar now proved its worth as the portly conductor yelled out about a busted rod before stroking the wheel. The fat man gained a few nervous glances from the students who backed away from the cardinal train as he shuffled his way to the restroom. The huddled masses which rushed toward the comfy compartments inside the steel tomb now sulked toward the icy stone benches continuing their dull conversations in the bitter air of the station. Yoko moved away from the bewitched entrance and marching past a pair of trolls stood halfway between the disappointing train and a bench that was currently occupied by a boy who held a heavily creased paper in his hands. If tiresome waiting and colds was all this school called Hogwarts had to offer then the raven hair witch might as well return to her own home and waste away in the comfort of her family’s estate.
A familiar huff came to Miss Kaijuu’s heavily pierced ears forcing her thin body to turn. The large man who had accompanied his thin boss into the muggle station was now standing there his suit dotted with rain and his tanned hands held onto the trolley a tad tighter then necessary. “Delay?” Her bodyguard’s voice resembled used sandpaper, harsh and tinted with tiredness usually found in men many years older then himself. “Sadly.” For now the cursed student would have to keep her shiny headed friend at her side even if it meant drawing some unwanted attention. It would be impossible to persuade Ripper, as her father called him, to abandon her in a crowded station since the whole reason he was hired by the prestigious family was to keep the next leader of the Kaijuu safe. They must have been some sight. A tall, violence worn man, with a collection of tattoos creeping up the back of his bronzed skin and a pale, thin, ebony haired sixteen year old side by side gazes’ fixed on the very thing which caused this listless torment.

Three or four very lengthy paragraphs are the norm but I have been known to go a little crazy and post six or seven.
