"Life is a road I want to keep going, Love is a river want to keep flowing, Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey..." A whispered voice sang in the empty corridors of the third floor, following the beat of the slapping sound of her pink converse sneakers on the ground.
Incidentally, it came from a red-haired, green-eyed fellow who probably came from the junior batch in the High School Department, named Crimson MacKenzie. She didn't look lost, due to the fact that she was touching everything in sight, as if she was trying to remember the place rather than familiarize herself with it. It was as if she was here for the first time, yet, she maybe saw it in her dreams.
She always seemed of this state: in a dreamy mood. She liked it that way; dazed. She always seemed to be daydreaming, even when skipping in an creatureless hall.
Crimson hopped her way to the ground floor using the fire exit staircase. It was weird to be back in school with a newly constructed fire exit, but she was trying to make it her own. She felt that no one would dare go in it; it was too dim, dark, and musty. It didn't have any windows at all.
As she landed firm on the last step, she turned her heel and walked off to the nearest vending machine, remembering she had spare change to use. Besides, she was real thirsty.
She snapped open her bright red messenger bag, fished for a ladybug-printed coin purse that she made herself, dropped some of her coins into the machinery, and pressed the button under Pepsi Max. While waiting for her drink, she smoothed the front of her short red smock dress. She heard an instant -plink- of metal on metal and grabbed her soda.
Slurping it up, she continued skipping towards her next class, singing another Disney song aimlessly, her voice echoing in the halls.
Is it an Intro or Post: It could be either way, really.
Average post length: Usually a paragraph to four paragraphs.
