Demeter;;
The Basics
My Name;; Demeter the Goddess of Grain and Fertility
My Race;; A Goddess and proud
My Age;; Old enough to be worshiped in ancient times and young enough to be in War
My Height;; 5'10
Hair and Eyes;; Demeter is the kind of Goddess who has the air of someone wise and caring, but still look as young as if she was in her mid twenties. Her hair color is a dark brown much like new and rich soil, and her eyes are as green as a spring field in May. She is rather attractive in the sense of her beauty, but don't be fooled by her looks. She will resist almost any charm.
You know you love her;;

My Habits;; Demeter just loves horses. She has a tendency to watch wild herds grazing, especially when foals are born. She is overly protective during breeding season, feeling the need to drive off any stallion from a fleeing mare, due to her own experience with Poseidon. She still often likes to change into them though.
My Personality;;
To start it all off, Demeter is the Goddess of Grain and Fertility. In that case, you can almost guess slightly what she might be like. She is very caring, something that isn't a common character trait in Gods and Goddesses. Why else would she give mortals agriculture to live off of, and children so the population will continue to grow and expand? She wishes for prosperity on Earth, and is a peaceful maiden who merely enjoys spending time with loved ones and tending to Nature. In disguise as a common mortal, she is a independent woman who tends to be on the less social side. Maybe you can call her timid, but when she has intense emotions, you can expect a drastic and bold change in her. She will give you trouble if you ask for it, and is highly determined to get what she desires.
Still want more? OK, then listen and learn buddy, because she isn't the one to sit down and tell a life story. Demeter is a solo wanderer, and only stops to settle rarely and for a short period of time. She sometimes can get stressed over little reasons, feeling as if she was busy and needed to do something. She won't sit still, and unfortunately she is too stubborn to listen to advice from others to just calm down. Once she has an idea set in her mind, it is almost impossible to make her budge. She is hard-working and means well to almost everyone, but if you happen to cross paths with her when she is in a bad mood, then you best be prepared for danger. She is deadly and lethal when she is in emotional states, sometimes acting insane without knowing it at all, and before you know it it is too late to stop her. She holds in everything tight, before finally she explodes and lets the storm blow hard on you.
Another thing to note about Demeter is she is very protective and loyal, so it wouldn't be punishment to get on her good side. Completely trustworthy, she does whatever thinks is best and gives excellent advice, even if she refuses to listen to anyone's ideas for her. Extremely dignified, it'll take a lot to put her down, even if you are throwing the dirtiest, most rotten comments you have at her. She'll just glare at you with amused eyes, dance around with glee, and merely walk away untouched at the slightest. She likes being happy, and one day wishes that all females could be independent without love and men could stop being complete asses. Maybe one day, she hopes, she'll find her one true love who will please her and fulfill her every wishes, without being a nitwit or backstabber like all the others seem to be.
The 'oh so loving' family;;
Parents: Cronus and Rhea
Siblings: Zeus, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, Hestia
Family Dynamics: Well, my father swallowed me when I was born. So, if I may say so, he wasn't the most...gentle sire. My mother on the other hand was OK, but I didn't really care about my parents to much. 'Mommy' was too busy with baby Zeus most of the time anyway. Oh, and Zeus turned out great. Psh, not. Hera doesn't talk to me much, and I don't mind it because she's always a jealous freak anyway, yet I don't blame her. Really, I do sympathize a little, I just don't care much at times.
Hmm...And Hades. I hate him for taking my little girl away. He didn't even have a single thought of what he did to hurt me and what would happen to the world. I suppose that's what you get for having a brother as 'God of the Underworld' though.
Poseidon, where do I begin? That he's one of my worst enemies? Well, whatever you want me to say about THAT wretch, I can tell you a whole lot about that dirty scumbag of a God.
Hestia, well, she's nice enough. I'm just glad she still is virgin though, because I would hate for her to be the victim of a man's foolishness. She is probably my favorite sibling, and I barely talk to her.
Persephone, oh how I miss you every winter and autumn. I wish you were home with me every season, so we could wander together and frolic in the May meadows. She makes me so very happy, and she's my favorite daughter. In fact, my favorite person.
Oh, and as for the rest of my family, I guess you can say I care about them, but not much to say. So, I guess you can say us Greek Gods and Goddesses have weird relationships.
History: Is there really anymore to say? Well, if you must know about my history, than I'll just point out my family members. You know them, you either love or hate them, and they are basically just a tragic mess. Really, sometimes I feel like everyone of us must be related at least three times somehow or another. When I was born, or in a correct term 'thrown up' by my father, I was basically from the start more alone than I know. No one was really there to take care of me, I just sort of raised myself in that strange, mysterious way us Immortals have.
I'm a Goddess. I have too long of a history to write down. I helped grow crops, I watched families live and die, I underwent things that changed my life. Bad and good things happened to me. A few of these would be when Persephone was taken away from me and a horrible thing over fell Earth and mortals, before she was reunited with me. Thankfully, she can at least be with me for two seasons. Another would be when Poseidon was stalking me, until I finally turned into my favorite creature, a mare, and he ended it. Unfortunately, I had been caught by him, and you know how that goes.
Well, and then there was this time when Aphrodite and Ares were embracing and making out and they got caught in a net and all the stupid, disgusting and greedy men went over to take a look, and us beautiful and oh so clever Goddesses stayed behind repulsively, knowing it was disrespectful...Oh, wait, that isn't my story to tell, is it? Well, just to let you know, I simply despise men. Except some. Those 'some' are rare, but they are worthy of my mercy...For now.
Some historical facts that might be interesting about me would be that I have had 7 children. Two were fathered by Poseidon (curse him...), two were fathered by Zeus, another two were fathered by Iasion, and the last fathered by Carmanor. I regret almost all of these, figuring that I never have liked men much, and the only child that is dearly close to me is my darling Persephone, who is taken away from me two seasons of every year. I was about to make Demophon a immortal, before his stupid mother came in and ruined the ritual. No respect at all! I angrily turned away from them, and instead chose his brother on a quest to teach the world of agriculture. And, of course, my idea brought lots of good. I'm glad he fulfilled his deed.
So that is my main history.
Extra: Loves soft and light colors such as; some blue, beige and cream, light brown and minty greens of all sorts! Also, as a mortal and God, dresses very fancily and classy at all times, never without a charming suit made for style and being sleek, cool and refined like the dignified woman wants. As a mortal she is known as 'Dem' or 'Demmy', and she hates both names but tolerates them unless another Immortal calls her so.
