So far New York had treated the sea god rather kindly, so far. No longer was it the harsh forbidding surface world he had once known. It seemed these days there was always somewhere to visit or explore, some great adventure to be had within the cities confines. All the sights and the sounds seemed to catch the god's interest as he ventured into the city each day. Slowly, but surely he was becoming more and more associated with the land dwellers again, wandering among them as he used to.
Though today would be a little different for Triton, it was today he had decided to take in the theatrical performances on Broadway. The young god having acquired some tickets for the theatrical interpretation of 'Tarzan'. Naturally the god would come semi-formal in attire as it would come to his understanding that this was common dress for theater goers. His upper body veiled for the most part by a simple collared shirt and his lower half by a simple pair of dark pants.
Triton attend the performance rather early, though it seemed like mere moments before he was clapping and applauding the cast after preforming in his opinion a stunning show. Shortly after the curtain would drop, the lights would come on and that eerie Victorian score began to drift in the background, the immortal left trapped within a crowd of mortals as they pushed and shoved to get outside. Triton doing his best not to lose his anger with the blinking lights of the matinee in sight and the crowds of people exiting other shows outside. It would be a shame if he would have to resort to teaching all the tourists and theater-goers a lession in respect and orderly evacuation.
With the twilight sky gone and fully consumed by a blanket of night Triton figured he'd spend a little more time in the city before returning to that place he had found for himself off the coast of Manhattan. So what was there to do before heading back, the shopping, the restaurants, the nightclubs, there was so much fun to be had before his night out would come to an end. Triton thinking of these things as to keep his patience and not lose his temper with these mortals who knew nothing.
