Personality:
Eirene is a very laid back goddess. She usually tries to keep away from involving herself in others affairs, but sometimes she just can't stop herself. She's very nosey and opinionated. Eirene once got involved with a human's affair, even though gods and goddesses were not allowed to do so, and caused a bit of a ruckus. Her father eventually found out and scolded her. Her explanation was that the human's life was being ruined by another and she had to make their life peaceful again. But, she only made it worse and the human ended up committing suicide.
But, Eirene the ever optimist didn't let that stop her. It just taught her to be more cautious about mingling with human affairs. She still likes to mess with humans because it's in her personality to get mixed up in things she shouldn't. Eirene made be the goddess of peace, but she's a bit of a busybody. Even though she's this way she's not the type of person to ruin someone's life. After that incident she was heartbroken and felt she wasn't doing her duty as a goddess of peace.
Her father soon found out about her meddling and put a stop to it. Eirene's personality forbid her to go against her father again, she loved him much too much. That was another plus on her personality, she loved everyone. No matter what anyone did to her, she loved them. That was her way of keeping the peace. She's very naive about a lot of more...adult matters. She's knows the things, but innuendos go right over her head.
Family;; Keeps Us Insane[/u]
Parents: Zues and Themis.
Siblings: Eunomia and Dike. (The other two that are known as Horae with Eirene.) The Fates. (They have the same mothers.)
Family Dynamics:
Her father and mother she holds very close to her heart. When it comes to her sisters she loves them even more. Eirene, Eunomia, and Dike are part of Horae, a group of goddess who rule the seasons. She is very close to her sisters. They are somewhat inseparable at times, but Eirene always finds herself the odd one out. Her sisters are assertive and very intelligent, while she is merely herself. The opposite of them.
She has had many tussles with her father over her meddling. Though he gets angry at times and says things, she still, and will always, love him. Eirene thinks of herself as one of the closer children to Zues. Her mother she loves as well, but she does not see as much of her as she does her father.
Eirene does not associate with the Fates at all. She refuses them as her sisters at times dues to their own ways. Eirene has always wished that humans would be able to live long lives, but due to the ending of life by her sisters, she finds she dislikes them greatly. She hasn't had many encounters with the Fates and doesn't plan to associate with them unless she absolutely has to do so.
History:
When Eirene was first born her sisters and her were inseperable. They were Horae, the Seasons. Justice, Lawfulness, and Peace. Eirene was the youngest of the three and looked up to her slightly elder sisters. They were intellegent and forceful about what they wanted, while she was weak and timid. She soon grew to the age at which she was able to start doing things on her own. Her first real encounter with humans was when she happened upon a young boy. He was very young to be on his own and Eirene couldn't bear the thought of leaving him on his own. She soon found herself spending more and more of her time with this young boy.
Her father, the mighty Zues, soon found out about her actions and forbid her from seeing her young friend again. By then he had grown to accustomed to seeing her, that when she left him, he was devastated. After a few days he offed himself. He wasn't the only one devastated. When Eirene found out of this event she sought after her sisters, The Fates, and blamed them. After she saw how they worked she vowed to get rid of them if ever she could. But, of course, this would never happen. They were only doing their jobs.
Even though Eirene was discouraged about her experience with the young boy, it did not at all stop her from interferring in other human lives.
Extra:
She has a bit of a thing for a certain underworlder.
She's obsessed with anything that is a baby. (I.E Baby animals, human babies, etc.)
