"I think it's fun to have wet clothes," she argued. Well, all right it wasn't when it shrank on her. Damn new materials used to make clothes! All of her old clothes were so out of style and so...Well, old! "Besides, I think you like it when I have wet clothes."
She knew they were horrible. Terrible horrible people and it was so good! "Oh, how could I get bored with you, Hades?" Persephone asked her thin eyebrow rose up. "I'm more than certain that we find ways to...Entertain ourselves." She giggled as she winked to him.
They were both so different back then.
People respected them. It was taboo to say her name. Their story wasn't that of love. They weren't the same as they were now. The younger goddess tried her best not to hug him. She tried so hard not to do anything to set of a spark or a flame. It ended the same and they could always do other things.
"You won't have as much time for me," she whined softly as she watched her husband. "Because of that I was thinking." She put her hand on her stomach and she said. "I need a baby." A baby? As in a baby baby type child baby? The young woman looked up at him and she tilted her chin up. "I would like a little girl." Oh shit where was she going? "A cute little girl for me, Hades."
He'd have to work. He'd have to work and train Hades and there wouldn't be as much time for her as she wanted. Her eyes fluttered lips curled into that smile. "I want a toy Chihuahua, a little girl puppy."

Hades could only resist her for so long. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he nodded. It took every bit of will he had to just hold her and do nothing more. "I do like it when you wear wet clothes, but I hate bit in wet clothes." He said with a smirk as he moved back just enough to look her over.
Clearing his throat, he shook his head. He wasn't going to even think about how they entertained themselves. Clearing his throat again while he tried to collect his thoughts, he sighed. "Yes, but it's not like we spend all day doing that." Despite how nice of an idea it was. "Sometimes I wonder why you even like me." He said rather nonchalantly as he shrugged.
His blood went cold at the mention of a baby. Staring at her, he nodded calmly to proe his was listening while his mind continued in a panicked frenzy. "A baby girl?" He said slowly, parroting her to keep from having to say anything original.
Not that he didn't like kids, but he knew he wasn't exactly the best person for the whole raising a child thing. Nor was the Underworld the best place. The closest he ever came to such a thing was when they'd be given the box that just happened to have a baby Adonis in it and that sure as hell wasn't something he'd like to again.
"Oh! A chihuahua." He said, rather excited that they weren't really talking about kids. A dog he could handle. There was just the slight fact that he didn't want another animal there. Especially one that Cerberus could just as easily use as a squeaky toy. "I don't think that would be the best thing."

"Oh, I can understand why you would hate wet clothes," she shrugged a little as she leaned into him. Shrinkage. That made sense now that she thought about it. She snuggled into him and she sighed. He was so warm. So nice to snuggle into. Her eyes closed tightly as she sighed happily into him.
Hades didn't want children. Adonis had been a blessing, she could take care of him. She needed to care about something. She needed to care for something. Maybe she could just take care of children. No. Hades wouldn't like that.
"A baby girl," she replied after a moment. she smiled and she shrugged. She ken that probably wasn't the greatest idea but she'd get lonely. And she didn't' want to be fascinated by anyone again. She thought that pulled away feelings from her dearest Hades.
She snuggled into the crook of his neck not doing anything. It was just innocent snuggling. If they had a child or something that would take time away from them. Her want for children wasn't as large as Hades distaste for them. She buried herself into him.
She was never lonely or anythign. Her mother was always around her when Hades wasn't. And Cerberus kept her company when Hades was busy. Maybe she should make some new friends.
"Mmm," she smiled into him.

Giving a a curious look, he simply shook his head. sometimes it was better when he didn't question what was going inside that head of hers. Instead he kissed her on the cheek, losing yet another battle of resistance. Not that he was ever too good at resisting his wife.
Children were so bothersome. Frankly, he was rather swamped with the not so simple care of the Underworld. Such a vast and open place and everyone had to be checked on eventually. The souls in Tatarus had to be suffering, the ones in Asphodel he often ignored unless there was some kind of catastrophe. Not to mention those in Elysium, not that he needed to check on them, but it was a gorgeous paradise and he could think of nowhere better to spend his time. A child would just get in the way of that.
And it wasn't as though it was all dead souls. There were plenty of other gods who spent a great deal of time down there. Not to mention the occasional unwanted visitor like Hermes or even worse, Dionysus.
Closing his eyes tightly at the thought of either of his nephews, he groaned. "So, are you alright with holding off on bringing anything else here?" He asked, just to be sure. Her opinion mattered most after all.

"Of course, Hades," was her reply. Anything for him. She'd do anything for him. She kissed him upon the chin and stroked him upon the cheek cupping his face. She could hold of anything for an eternity if he asked her too. Her eyes closed and she dropped her shoulders as she kissed him upon the cheek. Persephone hoped he would do the same for her. Sighing happily, she watched him. He couldn't resist her.
She held the power over one of the most powerful gods. "Mine," arms wrapped tightly around his neck and she closed her eyes snuggling in the crook of his neck. "All mine." She smiled and she said after a while. "I'll have to tell everyone no pets then. And I'm afraid Cerberus would eat it..." Cerberus was so gentle with her and Hades but he needed constant attention. A lot like a...
"I think I'm barren," she squeaked. Her voice was quiet and she sounded sad. Her voice was louder this time. "I think I'm barren, Hades." How many times had they made love? How many times had they made love over the eons and no results? She knew that they hadn't ever really tried but still...
Her heart suddenly ached. She had a want for a child. A want to care for someone aside from Hades, Cerberus, and mother. Her eyes closed and she snuggled into him. Why couldn't she have children? Her mother was the goddess of fertility. Why wasn't she?
"I'm sorry," she knew she sholudn't have been thinking of such thigns. It was a horrible time to even think about children and they were happy the way that they were. They were happy. Right? "I'm happy, Hades. I'm sorry I shouldn't..." She shouldn't bring stuff like that up.
Her eyes shimmered and she tried her best not to cry.

[ "Cerberus is an attention whore." He said with a shrug. The dog craved complete and utter attention and one could only guess what would happen if that attention ever went away. Not that it ever would. Hades loved his dog dearly and didn't mind spoiling him on occasions. After all, he occasionally did good work guarding the gate from intruders.
Despite the sadness in her voice, he couldn't help but laugh. Covering his mouth, he shook his head. He hadn't meant to laugh, but the idea was so ridiculous. "You think the daughter of a fertility goddess could be barren?" He asked, a slight chuckle in his voice.
Not event he fates themselves could have such a terrible sense of humour. So there was no way he'd believe that his wife was barren of all things. Which of course only left the blame with one other person, but he didn't dwell on that. If anything he considered it a blessing.
Sobering up slightly he sighed, a smile still on his face. "It's not your fault." He said whispered to her, before moving to hold her tightly. No there was nothing wrong with his dear wife. "I know you want kids." Even if he was happier without them, he still felt bad for not being able to give her at least one child.

"Yeah," was her reply. It would be cruel to bring another pet into the mix and take attention away from him. She'd been selfish to think of things like that. Persephone had been selfish. Selfish. Selfish person. She mentally smacked herself.
Her head shot up when she heard him laughing at her. How could he laugh! Immediately, she was shocked and her heart crumbled into millions of pieces! Was he laughing at that! Suddenly, the weight in her chest was lifted he wasn't laughing at that. He wasn't. How could she think he'd do something so cruel? Guilt flooded her.
"I-" she started quietly. She didn't know. She nodded. She honestly thought that. There was no reason for her to think otherwise. She didn't' realize there Hades might have been infertile. Her tiny body leaned into him and her eyes closed tightly as she cracked a tiny smile. "Oh, Hades..."
She tried to take her mind off the subject.
Her husband loved her. Her mother loved her. Her dog loved her. She shouldn't be so selfish.. Smiling, she closed her eyes and her cheek nuzzled his chest and neck.
"It isn't?" she asked chidlishly no longer the minx from before but a timid little girl.

He held her, patting her back comfortingly. She really did deserve ids too. She was sweet enough for such a task, but he wouldn't admit that. It would only be putting futile thoughts in her head since there was no changing what was between the two of them. And once she smiled, he smiled right back at her.
"No it's not." He said as though the answer should have been obvious. "If anything I think your only problem is being married to an infertile god." And he laughed it off as though it really wasn't a big deal too.
He was a god who spent his time in the darkness of the Underworld surrounded by the dead. It was only fitting he not be able to help create life in any way. Certainly those ancient Greeks and Romans had decided that he was an infertile god almost as assuredly as they had decided that Zeus was a sleazy little manwhore.

"Hades," She reached up and took hold of his face with her hands as she pressed her forehead upon his own forehead. Eyes closed and her eyelashes fluttered against him. The young woman smiled as she continued, "That isn't my problem, Hades. I'd rather live eons without children then to not live with you."
She nodded. That was the truth. She closed her eyes and snuggled into him. "Hades," she breathed into him happily as she snuggled into him. The tiny girl tilted her chin up to watch him her eyebrows knit together and she snuggled into him. She tilted her chin up to watch him.
Persephone loved Hades. She loved him so much. The young woman backed down from him as she took hold of his hand and she chirped happily. "Come now. No more sad thigns." She shook ehr ehad and rubbed her eyes. "No more tears." She pulled him along the River once more. "Have you seen, Charon?"

He was touched that she would say such a thing, but he didn't think that it was all true. He knew she wanted child, and he really did feel bad for not being able to give her one. "Thank you, but I still wish you could have that child you wanted." He said, looking down at the ground.
He smiled. No more sad things when they were surround by dead souls? It was a funny idea, though he understood perfectly what she had meant. He just didn't see it as particularly sad. But he was also the one who didn't want kids. Following along, he furrowed his brows in thought. "No. He might be ferrying souls." He offered, not really sure why Charon mattered all of a sudden.
Sure he knew she was changing the subject, but why to Charon? There were plenty of other things they could have talked about. "It's almost a pity most of Cerbie's siblings are dead. Certainly they would have made a good pet for you." He said with a slight shrug as he tried to think of something else for her.

It was the truth though. She'd rather live an eternity with him and childless then be with someone else and have hundreds of little ones running around. It was the truth she loved him so much. No one else needed her as much as he did. He needed her like no one ever had.
"Mmm," she shrugged. Why Charon? Well, it was the first ting that popped up in her mind and she just started to talk before she realized that she said something. Persephone didn't see the Underworld as particularly sad only because she was rather happy there. Despite the dead souls roaming about she didn't see it as upsetting. In fact she was happy because she was with her Hades. Hades.
Upon hearing that he was willing to give into her having a pet, but it being a sibling of Cerberus she nodded. "That's because...People had to just go and keep killing them." She never would have thought that creatures would just stop...She sighed and leaned into him some more. Warm.
Persephone smiled, "So long as it's sweet or cute." They were dead. "I can wait, I can wait Hades." She kissed his chin.

Despite how true it was, it certainly didn't leave him feeling particularly happy. Funny how his joy could be easily ruined by her being even the slightest bit upset. Who knows, he might have changed his mind on the topic one day and it would all be rather pointless.
Chuckling, he sighed. Charon wasn't exactly the best choice of conversation pieces, but it was fine since he knew she was at least trying. And the Underworld wasn't bad at all. There were people to talk to, although the majority were dead. Animals, or just the one since it really was just Cerberus around there. It even had the pleasanter aspects of life in the Elysium Fields, and yet no one came.
Slowly, he nodded in agreement, quite upset about that as well. Yes, he knew that Cerberus' siblings were less than pleasant always killing and causing problems, but there was the odd nice one every now and then. Ladon seemed to do a good job of guarding those apples and Orthus, well he was just a two headed Cerberus. Definitely didn't deserve to die. "People are idiots like that."
He nodded quietly. "I'm sure of that, but still." He was planning to be nice and nothing would change that. He kissed her on the cheek. "Perhaps I'll think of something eventually." [/center]

"It was heroes," she replied. Shaking her head. "They decided that in order to prove that they were heroes they needed to kill something." Why? Why did they have to kill? It was so unfair. Shaking her head Persephone tried not to look too upset in front of him. He read her so well. He knew her thoughts and feelings. He knew her heart too.
"Are you able to keep your thoughts in check?" she questioned his last comment. "I mean...Sometimes, it involves I don't know..." She waved her hand and innocently glanced up at her husband with deep set eyes. "well, it usually involves you and I and making love."
Honestly.
Giggling, Persephone held tightly onto his hand and she started to walk along the river side dragging him along him. Stroking his hand she held tightly onto him. Not wanting to let go. Persephone brought his hand up to her cheek and she kissed his palm.

Hades ran his hand through her hair, a slight frown on his face. "Yes, but in all fairness some of them could be quite bad. Didn't deserve to be killed though." Not that there really was an alternative to such a thing, but he had liked Cerbie's siblings. They had that awful habit of killing people.
He smiled at her, nodding since it was true. "I can manage. Especially when I'm not next to a certain young goddess who likes to tempt me so much." He said, having no problem blaming her for those wonderful thoughts. "Besides, I don't recall you complaining about any time I had that particular urge."
Smiling at the kiss, he smirked. Disentangling his hand from hers, he moved behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. He rested his chin on her shoulder, keeping himself pressed against her as they moved.

"Mmm," the tiny girl nodded with a tiny shrug as her shoulders rose up. "I do not tempt you!" He was always! And then he! He was...And...It was so hard not to just jump on the poor god and tear his clothes off. Hades was nothing more than a tool to ease Persephone's lust. Poor guy.
As soon as he walked behind her she pressed her back along his stomach and chest. "How could I ever complain?" There was no way that she could ever be too upset with him. It was just impossible. He'd just bring out the most in her.
Brunette hair tumbled over her shoulders. The tiny girl was happy to be with him. "Oh my," she teased him. "I feel something coming on!" She wiggled her butt against him. Temptress!
She leaned into him.
